The 7th grade Varsity boys ended the season with a win on Monday night against Cascade and a loss Tuesday night against North Whidbey. Monday night the boys played outstanding defense holding Cascade to just 2 points in the 2nd quarter. They played hard and never gave up. The game remained close but they played through it and came out on top. Tuesday night the boys lost to North Whidbey. The boys played great defense again and played great team basketball. Players of the games go to Jace and Isiah! The team really has improved a lot over the season, and it was super fun getting to coach the boys. Thanks for a great season! Nice job Knights!
On Monday, the 8th grade Boys Varsity beat the Cascade Kodiaks. The Knights used strong defense and great teamwork to take an early lead. They continued this throughout the game and won convincingly. Great job! Then on Tuesday, the 8th grade Varsity won a big game against North Whidbey. They used great defense and teamwork to cruise to a big victory. Great teamwork led to every player scoring. A great way to end the season. They finished the season 6-2, the best record in the league. Great season guys!
Congratulations to the 7th Grade Boys JV Basketball team on a huge win over the Cascade Kodiaks on Monday Night. The Knights used great defensive teamwork and smart passing in the second half for the big comeback win 47- 36. Leading the charge was Corbin, Christian and Sean with some clutch baskets at the end. Sawyer led the team in rebounds and helped the Knights to play their very best game this season. The honor of the game bracelet goes to Caleb for the support he shows his team and how hard he works at practice. Way to go Knights! Tuesday night he 7th Grade Boys JV Basketball team finished off their great season by playing their very best game of the year and defeating North Whidbey Cougars by a score of 40-36. The exciting game went back and forth but the Knights amazing passing and clutch shooting was just too much for the Cougars. Corbin led the charge with 18 points and 5 assists. Aiden and Sawyer led the team with 8 rebounds each. The honor of the game bracelet goes to Andrew. Even after he was injured and his season was over he continued to show up to support his teammates. Congratulations on a great season guys. You all worked so hard and did an amazing job representing Port Susan Middle School. I am proud of all of you!
