Boys Soccer Games Tuesday Night: The PSMS Boys Soccer teams battled Stanwood Middle School Tuesday, with both teams notching victories. The JV team played a complete game and scored 6 goals while keeping a shutout. Caleb, Corbin (x2), Lev, Aaron and Leroy all found the back of the net in the win. Varsity battled back from a 1-0 halftime deficit, scoring two second half goals from Myles and Casey to secure the 2-1 win. The varsity played a well rounded second half, keeping possession and finding multiple opportunities to score goals, playing their best half of soccer all year. On Thursday, the Boys Soccer teams took on a rematch with the Anacortes Hawks at the SHS Auxiliary field. The Varsity Team scored in the final seconds (Myles) to secure the 3-2 exciting victory. The team saw dynamic defensive performances from Yahir and Zadean to notch the win and move to 4-2 on the year. Myles scored two goals while Zadean scored a header off a corner kick to lead the Knights. JV lost a close battle, falling 2-1 to the Hawks. Corbin scored the loan goal with a great assist from Landon. Both teams are back on the field next week for the final home game (Monday) and a road game on Thursday.
