Monday night the Girls JV Basketball team won a fun back and forth game with the Cascade Kodiaks. The Knights were down by one when Rakie hit a big basket to give the Knights an exciting 13-12 win. The honor of the game bracelet goes to Sonia for her positive attitude and always encouraging her teammates. Way to go Knights! 7th grade varsity played a great game defeating the Cascade Kodiaks. They played aggressive defense and moved the ball creating open shots under the basket. Player of the game goes to Cami for her numerous rebounds and boxing out! Great job girls! The 8th-grade varsity team secured a strong win over Cascade. The Knights ran their offensive plays smoothly, allowing them to take strong shots from all around the key. Sterling was awarded the "Bracelet of the Game" for her leadership, contributing both by scoring and creating opportunities for her teammates. On Tuesday, the Girls JV Basketball team lost a tough one to the Stanwood Spartans. It was an amazing game for Rakie who led the charge with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Brooke and Callie get the honor of the game bracelets for having such great attitudes and always giving their best effort. The 8th grade Knights applied relentless defensive pressure, making it tough for the Spartans to keep up. Bracelet of the game goes to Victoria for quickly learning her role in the press and executing it well, creating turnovers that helped fuel the team’s victory. The Knights came out on top with a well-earned win against the Stanwood Spartans. Way to go ladies!
